Call for Editor (quantitative research)

Press Start is currently seeking to recruit one new board member with expertise in quantitative research. As a student journal, we are the perfect place to gain experience in academic publishing, and our friendly and supportive international board members are happy to offer mentorship to new editors.

The role primarily involves seeking and assigning peer reviewers, providing clear and kind feedback on papers, and copyediting. The position is voluntary and remote. We organise the journal primarily via Discord, mostly via text chat with one or two voice/video meetings per year. Regular updates and active participation on Discord is expected. Applicants must be current graduate/postgraduate students or have graduated within the past year. As a game studies journal, an interest in video games is ideal, but we encourage scholars from across disciplines to apply, as our publication (and the field) is interdisciplinary in nature.
